Frank Thompson has spent over two decades working in both independent and maintained schools around the UK.
As well as the National Professional Qualification in Headship, he holds two masters degrees from Cambridge University where he read Philosophy and Land Economy, followed by the Economics and Politics of Development. From 2006 Frank has worked in independent boarding and day schools ranging from Scotland to Suffolk and has recently embarked upon his third headship at S. Anselm’s School in Derbyshire. He has experience of teaching and leading schools in all phases of education from primary to sixth form.
He has a track record of academic success seeing nationally recognised results and Oxbridge success under his first headship. More recently he led Stoke College, Suffolk to more than double its GCSE pass rate over a period of three years.
Simon is Registrar and runs the Admissions Department at Cheltenham College. He has been at the College since 2001 and has been Senior Housemaster, Head of Year 9 and Sports Coach amongst many other roles. He continues to teach Maths and Geography whilst being Registrar. Before Cheltenham College, he was educated at Sedbergh School, studied Geography at Durham University and taught at Uppingham School.
